  “FLYY Kites! Get your cool, new kites for only 2 dollars! Great for a fun day at the park with friends and pets!” Mary shouted in front of our make shift stand Asia built out of cardboard and wood.   Luckily for me and Tasia, many people knew Mary. We sold out all 54 kites in one week.   We made $100 by ourselves!!    

  They are three of the biggest bullies on Earth.   They have been bullying me non-stop.   Asia told me about how mean Raven and Darla were to her when she was in their class for the first few months of 7 th   grade last year.   I  had no idea that they would be this LOUD and REBELLIOUS.   To make things even worse Mr. Hanes lets them do whatever they want and Sheldon takes advantage of that.   I don’t know how I am going to handle all of these bullies on my own.

Sharon spelled peroxide correctly. We went back and forth until the 16 th round. I couldn ’ t believe Sharon was such a good speller. It made me angry. “ Sharon spell ‘ Triskaidekaphobia. ’” Yes! I learned that word for the State Spelling Bee that I fainted at! I remember that triskaidekaphobia means fear of the number 13.

I was FURIOUS.   W hen I passed the art room I saw an opened can of paint.   I grabbed the can and hid it in Mr. Hanes’ room until lunch time to get revenge.   After the bell rang I ran to the cafeteria with the paint, threw it at Raven and Darla’s table, and ran away.   WHAT WAS I THINKING!!

When we got to the venue for the dance I was surprised at how loud the music was and how dim the lights were. Dustin came up to me with a smile saying “ Come dance with me Asia. You promised remember? ” “ Yes. I remember. ” I blushed. I stepped onto the dance floor happy that I had a partner. I forgot one thing: I don ’ t know how to dance AT ALL.

The club has been so wonderful for our new and improved relationship.   I  help him with his homework like old times and we watch movies.   I actually sat next to him while we watched The Great Gatsby.   Asia and Celeste were watching us instead of watching the movie and I heard them say “AWWWW!”   I ’m a little annoyed by their instigating, but I am so happy I’m hanging out with Orlando again.   Maybe this time around we can be more than friends.

I DID IT! I, Asia McKinley, graduated from East Rivers Middle School. I was the top student, as anticipated, and I say that with the utmost humility. I took pictures with Tasia, Celeste, Sharon, Janice, and even with Dustin, Ricky, and Curtis. It was a great day. I ’ m glad I survived middle school , now I ’ m ready to take on the next challenge: High school .

YUCK!! Sheldon bought me a box of chocolate and asked me to be his secret Valentine. “Are you serious?!” I asked. “NO!” I snatched the chocolate and stomped away. The chocolate didn’t need to go to waste because I didn’t want to be Sheldon’s secret Valentine.

I didn ’ t want to hurt Alex ’ s feelings so I decided to tell him upfront that I did not want a boyfriend. I walked up to him in the cafeteria and said “ Hey Alex. I like your riddle, but I am not interested. No hard feelings? ” I tried to smile to soften the rejection. Instead of a shrug or a simple “ Okay ” Alex dumped his entire lunch tray of spaghetti and meatballs over my head.

While Rose and I talked about what we wrote in our T.R.uth Book we didn't realize that the Hottie Clique was watching us. Little did we know they were waiting for an opportunity to steal our book and read all of our secrets.

"I don't understand why no one likes me!" I wailed like a big baby.   "You're a brilliant student Asia and they can see how special you are. There has never been a scholar like you at this school before. You're making a big difference at East Rivers. One day you'll see this." Chairman said.

If I joined the Hottie Clique I would automatically be popular and get attention from all the boys. Is this what I really want? Who am I kidding? Introducing Tasia McKinley, newest member of the Hottie Clique.

I cannot believe Raven ripped up my art work like that! If I were Bookgirl I would have put her in a cage made of bookmarks. But I'm just Asia so I took my torn up paper out of the garbage and taped it back together.

Our 12th birthday party was awesome. Mommy invited guest and they actually showed up! We had so much fun it was unbelievable. Is this a sign of good things to come? We'll see.

When Mommy and Daddy told us the news we couldn't believe our ears. Didn't this just happen last year? I'm having a serious case of deja vu.

I am going to be the Most Popular, the Best Dressed, the Best Looking, the Most Likely to Succeed, the Best Hair, the Best Personality, Best Entertainer, and more. From now on I will be too cool for school.

  “ I Death Dare you to kiss Clover Mintson, ” Mya said with her arms crossed." My jaw dropped to the floor. The crowd pointed at me shouting “ Do it! Do it! Do it! ” I was going to faint. Clover Mintson is the dirtiest, most stinky kid in all of Grey Meadows, probably the whole world!

Guess who got the leading roles in Middle School Musical? The popular students of course. And where did that leave me? At the corner of the stage behind the curtains.

By the time we presented OUR original invention, a door shutter, everyone in the class looked at us and rolled their eyes. It's not fair that we are being accused of having the same invention as the person who stole our idea. I can't wait until this class is over!

Why didn't our teacher tell us that crabs like to claw people's hands? That important piece of information might have preventing THIS from happening.

I knew Cabin D was haunted! It's after midnight and the door just creaked opened. I hope it isn't Francine the Ghost

I ruined my big chance to be popular at my new school when my new friends found out that I had... TWO LEFT FEET.

You have to know who your real friends are in school. Is it the one with braces who spits in your face every time she talks, but she always says hi? Or the one who only speaks to you when she needs help with her homework? You decide.    

We thought that moving to a new town would change our social fortunes... It didn't.  

This is the most important birthday of our lives! You only turn double digits once! How could they forget?

  Princess Asiara is cursed by the Grand Witch Natalina who forces her to read books 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Prince Marcus IV can break the spell with his magic bookmark. At the end of the fairy tale Prince Marcus IV gives Princess Asiara the magic bookmark and she closes the book she was cursed to read.

By the time I opened my eyes everyone appeared to be cheering. I WISH! When DJ Juke cut the music off half of the crowd was holding each other up so they wouldn’t fall down from laughter while the other half was mimicking my “moves.”

I was crying by myself in the hallway after all my classmates laughed at me for dropping 150 pennies on the floor. I didn't expect Miss Suarez to come and give me a present. She gave me what I wanted for Christmas: a One Direction journal with Zayn on the front. Dreams DO come true!

I can't believe this is happening! My crush Simon wrote note to me in my autograph book. I hope he didn't notice how much I blushed while he signed his name.
